The improvisational movement collective Immediate Theater performed during the opening of Absolutely Stable at LUMP Gallery.Joyce Rudinsky and the members of Immediate Theater met for several sessions to experiment with improvisational collaboration between dancers, musicians, and visual artists. To prepare for the LUMP Gallery show, we discussed how to create a process that maintained our individual artistic integrity while allowing the process to expand our normal practice. We discussed conceptual aspects and various strategies but allowed for improvisation and experimentation. To the right is excerpted video documentation.
